Privacy in 24h Routines

Your routines are yours. Here's what the app does with your data, plain and simple.

Last updated: October 22, 2026

In short

  • The app uses no servers of its own and has no user accounts.
  • The app doesn't collect your data.
  • The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
  • Permissions are optional and you can withdraw them any time.

What is stored and where

Your routines, your completion history and your settings (clock look, manual sleep times, the place you pick for sunrise and sunset, reminders) are stored on your device.

Widgets read that same data on your device.

If iCloud is on, your routines are also copied to your private iCloud to keep your devices up to date. That copy belongs to Apple and is tied to your account. mirlo apps can't see it.

What goes to third parties

Information only goes to Apple, and only in these cases:

  • iCloud: the copy of your routines, if iCloud is on.
  • Place search: when you pick a city for sunrise and sunset, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest results. The place you choose is saved only on your device.
  • Purchases: handled by the App Store. The app doesn't receive or store your payment details.

There are no ads, no analytics tools and no third-party libraries that collect data. The app doesn't track you.

Permissions it may ask for

None is required. If you don't grant them, the rest of the app works the same.

  • Notifications: to remind you before a routine or when a focus session ends. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
  • Alarms: the focus timer can ring like a system alarm.
  • Health (read only): the app reads your sleep and workouts to draw them on the clock. It writes nothing to Health and that data doesn't leave your device.
  • Calendar (full access): to import events as routines and export your routines as events. It only acts when you ask it to.
  • Location: the app doesn't use your device's GPS. You pick the place for sunrise and sunset by hand.

Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight

Siri and Shortcuts run app actions on your device, like checking what's next or starting a focus session.

Your routine names may show up in Spotlight search. That index stays on your iPhone or iPad.

Your control

You can edit or delete your routines any time in the app, and delete them all from settings.

Permissions can be changed in System Settings > 24h Routines.

To delete the iCloud copy, go to Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage.
