A Sun in Your Pocket turns your iPhone into a personal planetarium. It offers real-time visualizations of the sun and moon, elegant widgets, and precise predictions of astronomical events like sunrises, sunsets, moon phases, solstices, and equinoxes.

All calculations are performed locally on your device based on your location. This means they work offline and your location data never leaves your device.

A Sun in Your Pocket requires iOS 17.0 or later.

A Sun in Your Pocket includes elegant widgets for your Home and Lock Screen:

• Golden Hour: Shows when the golden hour for photography will be
• Blue Hour: Indicates the perfect blue hour time
• Sun & Moon: Current position of the sun and moon
• Moon Phases: Current moon phase

To add them: Long press Home Screen → "+" → Search "A Sun in Your Pocket"

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Select "A Sun in Your Pocket"
5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You can also manage it via App Store → Your Profile Picture → Subscriptions.

Yes. If you choose the "Lifetime" option ($19.99), you will have permanent Premium access with no renewals.

Zen Mode is a meditative visualization of the Earth floating in space, with accurate day/night cycles and real-time star positions. Perfect for relaxing or as an animated wallpaper.

Absolutely. Your location never leaves your device. All astronomical calculations are performed locally, which also allows the app to work offline. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

Not for core features. Solar/lunar position calculations, sunrises/sunsets, and astronomical events work completely offline. Weather forecast integration does require a connection.
