Privacy Policy for My Health Keeper
Your medical data belongs strictly to you. We do not collect it, do not monetize it, and operate no proprietary storage servers to retain it.
Storage of your health data
Your medical records, diagnosed conditions, medication logs, appointments, daily check-ins, and personal notes are stored locally on your device via Apple's SwiftData engine. The app does not operate any proprietary backend or storage servers.
We (Mirlo Apps) do not collect your data and at no time have access to the records, files, or metrics you enter into the application.
Artificial Intelligence & Provider Choice
My Health Keeper allows you to select which AI provider powers your chat queries and document analysis:
- Apple Intelligence (On-Device): On compatible iOS 26+ devices, models run entirely locally using Apple's FoundationModels framework. Your prompts and health context never leave your device.
- Google Gemini 3.8 Flash (via Firebase): If you select Gemini, what you send to the chat or medical report analysis leaves your device to Google via Firebase. Transmitted data includes your prompt or document text along with the health context generated by the app (symptoms from the past 24 hours, active medications, environmental and internal load scores, health vitals, and profile background).
- Groq: If you select Groq, what you send to the chat or report analysis leaves your device directly to Groq's API, including your query or report text and the app's health context.
We do not collect or store your AI conversations or medical reports. If you prefer that no data leaves your device toward third-party cloud providers, you can select Apple Intelligence or use the app manually as a local manager.
Report import & faithful extraction
When importing medical PDFs or photos (inside the app or via the iOS Share Extension), document text is processed using on-device Apple Vision OCR.
Summaries are strictly confined to faithful extraction: separating confirmed from suspected diagnoses, extracting quantitative lab values, and transcribing the physician's care plan without extrapolation or fictional medical advice.
Medication schedules & local alerts
Medication dosages, frequencies, and intake logs are handled locally. Reminders are scheduled directly as on-device iOS local notifications. No remote server is ever notified about what medications you take or when you take them.
Apple Health & HealthKit permissions
My Health Keeper requests access to Apple Health only with your explicit permission to read metrics such as heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and active energy for physiological load calculations. If you record body metrics in the app, you may opt to save them back to Apple Health.
HealthKit data is never shared with third parties, never monetized, and never transferred outside the secure sandbox of your device.
Location & environmental factors (WeatherKit & OpenWeather)
To compute your environmental load score, the app fetches local weather conditions via Apple WeatherKit and air pollution metrics via OpenWeather. For this purpose, latitude and longitude coordinates of your geographic location are used only while the application is active. The app sends no health data or personal identifiers to these services, operates no proprietary backend, and Mirlo Apps does not collect or store your location.
Zero advertising & zero tracking
In compliance with Apple privacy nutrition labels (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), My Health Keeper incorporates no advertising SDKs, no behavioral trackers, and no commercial data brokers.
Data retention & complete deletion
You have complete autonomy: you can edit or delete any document, medication entry, or symptom log directly from the app interface. Uninstalling the app permanently purges all local data from your device.
